D.C. family tree adds new names to the family, cast,friends list
Members of the D.J. family are added to the official Family Guy cast, the Family Guy TV show and the cast of The Big Bang Theory.
D.C.’s newest addition, actor David Schwimmer, is joining the cast on the Dwayne Johnson-starring animated show “Transformers: The Last Knight,” the ABC series that launched Friday.
He joins an already-unbeatable roster of Dwayne’s friends and family members, including actor Paul F. Tompkins, who plays the titular robot.
Other notable additions include actor Chris Pratt, who played the role of the Autobot leader in the film “TransformERS,” actor and musician James Corden, who stars on NBC’s “Arrow,” actress Amy Schumer, who starred in the series, and actor Matt Bomer, who was the main character in the 2009 movie “The Adventures of Tintin.”
The cast also added actress Sarah Chalke, who is playing the villainous General Algernon Brown, who has taken over the position of General in the new “The Simpsons” television show.
Chalke has been an integral part of the cast since its premiere, appearing in more than 100 episodes.
She is currently appearing in the Disney Channel’s “Sesame Street” animated series and is set to appear in the Netflix original series “Orange Is the New Black” later this year.
Chapel Hill, South Carolina, native, actor, comedian and director David Schwimmers son is joining “The Big Bang,” the CBS sitcom series which launched Friday on NBC and will soon be expanding to ABC.
His father, actor Chris Schwimmer Jr., is playing his son, who goes by the name of the robotic “Blastar,” on the show.
David is known for his roles in “The Good Wife,” “Glee” and “Community.”
