Skyward family movies access to Skyward series content is now limited

The Skyward Family Movies will no longer be available on PlayStation VR, the developers behind the popular family-oriented VR series said.
Skyward Family has become a huge success on PlayStation 4 and PSVR.
In 2016, it launched a limited-time offer on the PlayStation Store for PS4 and PS VR.
It also has the largest library of family-focused titles in the platform’s history, including Skyward Warriors.
The developers also announced that they will be closing Skyward: Legacy in 2020, a free-to-play game that will also no longer have a dedicated price point.
“We have a new family movie coming to PlayStation VR later this year,” the developers wrote on their blog.
“Skyward: Family Movies has been a big success in the past and we wanted to provide you a few months worth of family content so you can experience it all on PS VR.”
Skyward family titles like Skyward Warrior and Skyward Warlords were also included in the free-for-all deal.
“In light of this new news, we will be removing Skyward from the PlayStation VR Store and discontinuing its free-time content,” the developer said.
“We have also decided to retire the Skyward and Skybound family movies in the future.”
This is not the first time Skyward has been removed from the VR ecosystem.
In March, the PlayStation brand was also removed from PS VR, as it was no longer considered compatible with the headset.
