The following is a summary of our family care practices.
The American Family Insurance (AIF) family insurance plan is one of the most comprehensive policies in the country and it is offered through American Family Centers, an award-winning health care provider, that has been providing quality family care services for over 60 years.
Our insurance plan offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, vision, dental, vision coverage, mental health, prescription drug, and cancer coverage.
All of our insured patients receive a prescription from a licensed physician, and our insured and non-insured clients have access to an individualized health plan for the first time.
Our policy also covers a number of health benefits that are often overlooked by many Americans.
Our comprehensive health plan provides comprehensive coverage for dental and vision care, as well as dental and prescription drug coverage, and is available for up to four years.
For children ages 6 months to 12 years old, our policy provides coverage for the cost of all services and devices, including mammograms, colonoscopies, and other procedures.
The policy also provides for a maximum of four referrals per child and is based on the income of the insured family.
This policy also includes a health plan premium of $1,500 for each insured family member.
Our policies also provide coverage for children in care of the local government.
In order to comply with federal law, our insurance plans must be approved by the state insurance commissioner and must be written into local ordinances, regulations, or other laws governing the community in which the policies are located.
The policies are fully self-funded, and there is no premium tax.
This includes the cost to insure children under age 6, who receive their coverage through our children’s insurance plan.
Additionally, our policies cover all children under 18 years of age who are enrolled in our program.
